Join us at Summerland! Greetings!Three Cranes Grove, ADF, would like to invite you to celebrate the Feast of Lughnassadh with us! The ritual will be held Sunday, August 3, 2008, at Battelle-Darby Creek Metropark in the Shagbark Area. Directions follow below. This ritual is free and open to the public. There will be a social hour starting at 6 PM, and the ritual will begin at 7 PM. We do ask that you please bring a canned food donation. All donations are given locally, and for suggestions on what to donate, please check out the Mid-Ohio FoodBank's suggested donations page. We hope to see you there for this public rituals! Please contact us if you have questions. Battelle-Darby is on the west side of Columbus, outside the I-270 belt. From I-270 take I-70 west to the Hilliard/Rome exit (91a), go towards New Rome and travel south to West Broad Street. Turn right onto Broad Street (U.S. 40) and travel approximately 4 miles to Darby Creek Drive. Turn left on Darby Creek Drive and proceed 3 miles. The main park entrance is on the right. Follow the road back to the Shagbark Area. A map may be found at http://www.metroparks.net/MapBattelle.aspx. A map to the Shagbark area is also available. Three Cranes is also doing a number of other events, meeting the 1st through 4th Thursday of every month, engaging in study along the Druid's Path. Meetings involve Druidic training, liturgical work, and plant lore. Please see our Calendar for more information, including locations and times!
