Summerland 2020 is coming up on August 13-16, and we are seeking presenter proposals. The theme for the festival this year is “New Beginnings”. While proposals on all topics are welcome, preference will be given to those that relate to this theme. We have no featured presenter this year, but are instead looking forward to showcasing the variety of knowledgeable people within the pagan community.
Attendees who are selected to present a workshop will be provided free admission to the festival, and a guaranteed bunk in a cabin (please note the cabin reservation process has changed this year, and is now done by single bunk, rather than by whole cabin).
We ask that those who propose workshops wait to register themselves until after their proposal has been accepted or denied, at which point those who will be presenting will be provided a discount code to remove the cost of a single registration and bunk. In the interest of fairness, those whose proposals are not accepted will be provided a discount code allowing them to register at the Early Bird fee, regardless of when they register, so long as the registration is completed online. (Further information regarding specific registration costs, cabin fees, meal plan is coming soon; early bird registration is expected to begin in late March.)
Presenters will need to agree to the Three Cranes Code of Conduct in order to submit a proposal. Proposals are due by May 1, and submitting a proposal does not guarantee a presenter slot at the festival. All applicants will be notified by June 1 for whether or not their proposal has been accepted.
