I took great pleasure in updating the Druid Wedding fliers for Three Cranes Grove, ADF this morning!
Let us celebrate this great victory: revel and take resounding joy as love wins.
And amidst the celebration, let us remember to take this joy and this energy we’ve been given, the rejuvenation and reigniting of our spirits, and continue to fight for those who still lack protections and rights under the law. For those who identify as bi, trans, queer, pan, poly, or any other orientation that does not have the same visibility and same rights that we are currently celebrating: we see you! And the fight continues until ALL love wins!
So celebrate! And let your spirit be reinvigorated for the continued fight ahead!
Brightest Blessings on us all!

This past Sunday (June 21st) we celebrated Simivisonnos, the Mid-Summer Month. It is a time to reflect on the joyful things that summer brings and that we treasure throughout the year. During this rite we honored Nehelennia, a Goddess of the Sea, who is a protector of travelers and fecundity.
“Nehelennia, with your bright blue eyes reflecting the clear skies above, and your inky hair reflecting the depths below, we have called to you to cradle us safely in your hands, surrounding us with your calm seas as we set forth on our journeys.” During this moon we brought forth our travel talismans, in whatever form they might take, to imbue (or reimbue) a blessing on them to protect us as we travel and bring us safely to our destination.
The omens we received were especially apt:
What is our path for the coming month: Raido – travel. Continue the travel to make the path to wander the path to show light. Offering protection as we offer hospitality.
What is the Grove’s focus for the coming month: Algiz – the road ahead. Be mindful of where we step and look out for each other.
What is the individual’s focus for the coming month: Sowilo & Elhaz – Sun, joy, brightness. Be merry and happy. Delight in ourselves and the season. Yay, summer! But don’t over indulge. Stay aware and focus on what you should do first.
Additionally, this Druid Moon was a Mistletoe Rite. This is a special working that occurs when we welcome a new member into our midst. They see the mystery and receive a token to prove their membership in our grove. It is a special time, and we’re all thrilled to have welcomed our newest member in.
